End of Summer Fun

We have been quite busy the past two months. We've had two big trips and much, much more going on in that time frame. And now we've finally had time to post the pictures from it all. First of is our July album, which included 4th of July activities. Also that month was our trip to Michigan and the Ebenhoeh reunion. Next was August, where we finally bought our house and moved in, and Sara visited her new school's open house to get acquainted. There was another vaca that month, as the Weiland family took a trip to the lake. And here is the September album, which currently has the pictures from Sara's first day of kindergarten but will certainly be filled with more events as the month continues...Will turns 2 next week, so be on the look out for pictures of another party!

We may have gotten a little off track the past few months since we moved and forgotten to post the latest photo albums. We're looking to fix that now. Nope you're prepared for the entire list:

November, December, Christmas

Looks like we've been a little slow in putting updates out to our site. As a way of making it up to you, there's going to be a ton of stuff for you to look at here. First, we have the November album, which includes our new nephew Noah and a visit from Grandpa and Grandma Yaklin. We also have the December album. They have a visit from Grandpa and Grandma Weiland as well as the usual Christmas items.

Happy Halloween!

I'm sure glad we took these pictures of the kids a couple weekends ago before a Halloween party, because tonight was a total bust! Both of our kids were exhausted after a long day/week of fun...neither would sit still long enough for me to capture the moment. Hope your Halloween was full of tricks and treats!

McCall's Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time at the pumpkin patch today with Allan, Melissa, and Natalie. We picked the pumpkins that we will turn into jack-o-lanterns soon (by the end of tonight, we will have one) and enjoyed lots of other fun activities. I got some really cute pictures, so take a look and stop back again soon, we have more Halloween fun planned for tonight!

Balloon Fiesta 2013

Sara's First Flight

For the past month, we have been going ballooning each weekend in preparation for balloon fiesta, which starts next weekend. The winds were perfect to go up this morning and Sara got her first flight.

Owen and Sara had a 20 minute flight and landed ever so gently a few blocks away. What an amazing experience she will never forget! Thanks so much Adele for making it happen. Here are a few more pictures from this morning's events. Soft landings to all this fiesta season!

Rodeo Day for 4-K

The state fair is in town and that means just one thing, the rodeo! The 4-K classes at Sara's school enjoyed a whole day of rodeo fun...roping the steer, sack races, bean bag toss, etc. Everyone was dressed up in their best western wear, including Sara. She had a great time being a cowgirl for the day!

Happy 1st Birthday!

Today is Will's first birthday! It is hard to believe it has already been a year, I remember the events like it was yesterday! We had a small party for him this past weekend, celebrating with family and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed the cake, and we enjoyed watching him make a mess of it.

Farwell Friends

We have been lucky enough to have the most amazing couple living next to us for the past 4 years, and soon they will be moving to KY to start a new chapter of their life. We have been grateful to have Eric & Lisa as neighbors and friends. While we will miss them terribly, we wish them the best of luck on this new adventure! Go PACKERS!
