It is that time of year again...college football! Owen decided it was his turn to get the kids dressed and this is what he came up with...I think there was an ulterior motive!

First day of pre-K
Sara started pre-K on Monday. I took a few pictures of her before we left for school. When we arrived, we were greeted with Sara's teacher from last year, Ms. Sherry. She has taken on an administrative role this year at Kids Express. We also ran into a number of Sara's old classmates, a few of which join her this year with Ms. Crystle and Ms. Desiree. Dropping her off felt like a continuation of last school year, so it made the transition a lot easier on Sara and Mom! (Who are we kidding, it is only Mom who would have a hard time with a new school year...Sara is a social butterfly!) So, a week into the new school year and Sara is loving it! More transitions for kids (and MOM) in just over a week when Mom goes back to work and the kids start a new day care on Thursdays. Wish me luck!
Trip to WI
We just got back from our trip to Wisconsin and thought we would share a few favorite moments from our trip. I flew to WI a week earlier than Owen to spend some time with my extended family and friends. My parents had the Bongers family over for dinner the first weekend so that everyone could meet the new additions to the family...there were 3 new kiddos: Landon, Will, and Frank! I also took advantage of the extra time and met up with a friend from SNC. I can't believe it has been 7 years since I have seen Ryan! Owen arrived the next day and started the family vacation by participating in a triathlon with my sister Leah. They did a great job and I'm so proud of Owen for completing the swim portion in style and with a great time! Everyone met up at the cottage we rented in Tomahawk for a week of Weiland family fun! I can't believe how much we packed into that week at the cottage: boating, swimming, games, food...and the list keeps going! We left the cottage on Friday night so that we could be home in time for my cousin Lee Weiland's wedding...a great way to end our trip to Wisconsin!
