The vitals: 20 inches long, 6 pounds, 2 ounces, born at 9:38 PM.

Say hello to Sara Jane Yaklin.

Seven tubes and counting...

Epidural in. Laura is happy.

Dilated to 6 cm. Blood pressure a little high, but no other symptoms to cause concern.

They have been able to get Laura dilated to 3 cm. Contractions have been anywhere between 2 to 5 minutes apart.

The midwife says that Laura is only 1 cm dilated, so they're going to work on improving that before inducing contractions. We might be here a while.
